Specialty Cruise Highlights Elvis Presley

Carnival Cruise Lines is tapping into the ever-popular Elvis Presley craze. The cruise line is partnering with St. Louis-based Jazz Cruises, a provider of full-ship charter music cruises, to offer "The Elvis Cruise." The four-day cruise on Carnival's 1,486-guest Celebration will depart on August 30 from Jacksonville, FL, and will call on Freeport and Nassau. Hosted by Jerry Schilling, a long-time friend of Presley, the cruise will include live shows from various artists who performed with the Presley, such as the TCB Band and the Imperials. Other Elvis-themed events will take place over the course of the voyage. Prices for the cruise begin at $750 per person.
