Starting October 29, 2010, Transaero Airlines will debut nonstop service from New York's John F. Kennedy Airport to Moscow's Domodedovo International Airport. Also scheduled for this month, the airline will launch nonstop service from Miami International Airport to Moscow to become the only airline to offer nonstop flight between the Russian capital and the Florida city.
Russia's second largest passenger air carrier will feature three flights on the New York route and twice a week on the Miami route. For the New York route, Boeing 747-400 four classes in in Business, Premium Economy and Economy will accommodate 352 passengers. Good to know: The flight time on this aircraft will be reduced by approximately one hour, making it the fastest flight from Russia of the Boeing 747-400s arriving to JFK.
The New York service will start when on October 29, flight UN2222 will leave JFK every Wednesday at 2 p.m. to arrive in Moscow at 6:50 a.m. the next day. Flight UN4444 will leave New York on Fridays and Sunday at 9:15 p.m. to arrive in Moscow at 2:05 p.m. the following day. From Russia, Flight UN111 will depart at 10:45 a.m. to touch down at JFK at 12:15 p.m., and Flight UN333 will depart DEM at 6 p.m. and come into JFK at 7:30 p.m.
Between Miami and Moscow, a Boeing 777 aircraft will carry 306 passengers in four classes with Imperial Class for 12 passengers, Business Class for 14 passengers and two Economy Class sections for 280 passengers, including Premium Economy Class and Economy Class. Returning Flight UN999 will depart Moscow at 10:20 a.m. and arrive in Miami at 2:50 a.m. the following day.
