United Seeks Flyer Support for New Route

United Airlines has asked members of its frequent-flyer program who've been to China to support the carrier's bid for nonstop service between Dulles and Beijing. United is petitioning the Department of Transportation to become the first U.S. carrier to provide direct service between the two capitals. According to United, 28 other country capitals have such service to Beijing.
