United Airlines will offer one non-stop flight between Los Angeles and Montrose Regional Airport during the 2006–2007 ski season, according to officials. The service will run from Dec. 16 to April 7, 2007. Flights will run on Saturdays, and depart Los Angeles at 12:45 p.m. and arrive in Montrose at 2:36 p.m. The return flight will depart Montrose at 4:45 p.m. and arrive in Los Angeles at 5:14 p.m. Continental Airlines, which had ferried travelers between L.A. and Montrose, discontinued service for the coming season, according to the Telluride Montrose Regional Air Organization.
