BA and Union Reach Agreement?

Finally, some promising news from the seemingly endless British Airways-Unite battle: MSN and other sources are reporting that negotiations may finally be close to an end.

After a year of 22 strikes that grounded flights and cost the company millions, the union and the airline have reached a tentative agreement, which will be sent out to the union members for a vote. The deal will see the loss of 500 jobs—200 of which have already gone—and a pay freeze of a year. A month of voting will begin next week, and the deal could be signed in mid-September.
