The Sheraton Waikiki’s newest dining experience, Kai Market, will offer breakfast and dinner experiences that will provide guests a taste of Hawaii’s different ethnic foods, and a look into the culture and traditions of Hawaii’s sugar plantations. Kai Market’s cuisine was inspired by the “food fair” of plantation tables from more than a century ago that brought an influx of cuisine to the Islands.

Plantation Nights at Kai Market’s featured cuisine will change nightly and feature local favorites prepared by Executive Chef Darren Demaya. This farm-to-table concept is a Hawaii first, with dishes prepared with produce from local growers. Kai Market will also feature three “living walls” of herbs and spices for chefs to pick fresh and include in their preparation of the restaurant’s signature dishes.

Entertainment will vary, featuring the musical artistry of dueling ukulele players who will stroll table to table throughout the evening to the delight of visitors and local residents.

Breakfast prices are $26 for adults; children 12 and under eat free with paying adult (one child per adult), with additional children at $13 per child. Plantation Nights at Kai Market is $49 for adults; children 12 and under eat free with paying adult (one child per adult), with additional children at $26 per child.
