Highly-Anticipated M Resort Opens In March

M Resort, Spa and Casino, the newest $1 billion resort destination on South Las Vegas Boulevard, is set to open in March. It is being developed by Anthony A. Marnell, III, a member of the Marnell family that has designed and built much of Las Vegas including the Mirage, Caesars Palace, and Wynn.  Now the Marnells are bringing back the team for the construction of the appropriately named M Resort.

The property will feature 390 rooms and suites, fit with floating ceiling planes, leather seating and marble fixtures. There will also be more than 90,000 square feet of gaming, 60,000 square feet of meeting and conference space, a 23,000-square-foot spa, a 100,000-square-foot events piazza, nine restaurants and five destination bars. All the restaurants are owned and operated by the family.

Each resort room offers a living space that includes high-technology features such as iPod docking stations, Bose sound system, and a flat-screen TV. The spa bathroom includes an in-laid mirror television and separate tub and shower.

Other distinguishing resort features include:
The property sits 400 ft higher in elevation then other resort casinos on the Las Vegas Strip, providing views of the skyline from the majority of rooms, restaurants, meeting space and lobby.
With the tower’s north-south orientation, approximately 70 percent of the rooms face the Las Vegas Strip. All rooms include floor to ceiling windows.

The entire property has wireless capabilities allowing guests to check in poolside.
Guests can access the 23,000-square-foot Spa Mio. Spa Mio offers 16 treatment rooms, sauna, steam and Jacuzzi wet areas, full-service salon and barbershop and a state-of-the-art fitness center— all with views of the Villaggio Del Sole’s canyon waterfall and firewall.
