New itineraries released this week targeted faith-based travel and world tours.
Crystal Cruises has added new religious shoreside options to its 2013 European voyages. The line now offers more than 20 Crystal Adventures with after-hours access, centuries-old houses of worship, Jewish heritage tours and sacred pilgrimage destinations in Spain, Italy, Turkey, Malta, France and other locales on the Continent. Most of the new and exclusive adventures visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony sail throughout Europe from April to December 2013, on cruises ranging from five days to month-long combo cruises for extended vacations. All-inclusive fares start at $1,895/person, with additional savings if booked by April 30. Fares for the spiritual excursion series start at $73/person.
In other Europe cruise news, Avalon Waterways is celebrating its 10th anniversary with 340 guaranteed Europe departures.
The line is offering eight-day itineraries including Burgundy & Provence, The Legendary Danube and Romantic Rhine as well as 15-day Magnificent Europe. Avalon also has a list of choices such as the nine-day Austrian Highlights & Bavaria, 10- or 12-day Capitals of Central Europe and 13-day Highlights of Germany.
The is also offering four- and five-day Danube cruises and cruise-only options as well as 24-day multiple river itineraries.
Looking further ahead to 2014, Holland America’s ms Amsterdam is visiting five continents on its Grand World Voyage. The Amsterdam will cross the equator four times on the 2014 Grand World Voyage and sail a route that explores the Southern Hemisphere.
For guests who want to take part in this annual tradition but have less time on their hands, eight segments ranging in length from 20 to 86 days are available from departure ports along the route. Seven overnight calls, evening theme balls, local entertainment brought on board and a host of other highlights will be available.
