Globus Family of Brands Extends Vaccination Requirement Through 2022

The Globus family of brands—consisting of Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways and Monograms—announced this week that it will require all travelers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to join any vacation in its vacation portfolio through 2022. Last month, the Globus family of brands became one of the first international travel companies to extend vaccination policies into 2022; with this announcement, it’s now committing to that policy for the full year.

“We remain committed to ensuring our travelers—and the destinations we visit—a safe, sustainable and responsible return to travel,” said Scott Nisbet, CEO of the Globus family of brands, in a press release. “And, with all 2022 vacations now available for booking, we’re removing questions and inconsistencies, giving want-to-be globetrotters the assurances they need to feel confident moving forward with their vacation plans. And there’s no better time than the present to plan an epic comeback to travel for 2022.”

Since 2020, the Globus family of brands has unveiled more ways to explore the world, including experiences like the introduction of “Choice Touring by Globus” in Europe and North America, the expansion of the Undiscovered” tours across the globe and new “Storyteller” sailings with celebrity hosts on Avalon Waterways cruises. The “Active & Discovery” itineraries have also been expanded to all the major waterways in Europe.
