Navigatr Group Centralizes Partner Relations With New Hire

Navigatr Group has announced the appointment of Andrew Dyer to the newly created executive vice president of travel partner relations role. Dyer will lead this new division of Navigatr Central Services working with partners across all Navigatr brands to drive improved partner relationships and outcomes, including the sourcing of supplier inventories across all verticals including air, hotel, cruise, car rental, insurance, and tours and activities.

Navigatr Group includes several travel brands—all of which are operated independently with separate leadership teams for each. This includes Kensington Tours, a luxury tour operator; Travel Edge Network, a luxury host network; Travel Edge, a leisure and corporate travel agency; Ensemble, a travel agency consortium; and TripArc, a travel technology company.

“With Navigatr’s travel volume exceeding $3 billion in 2022, we believe we can drive greater value and outcomes by centralizing the partner relations operations to ensure a more cohesive and holistic approach to working with our partners to drive greater value for our partners as well as our members,” said Jeff Willner, CEO of Navigatr Group. “We also want to ensure that we prioritize the relationships that are at the core of our business whether its members of our consortium, advisors in our host agency network, retail and corporate clients or our travel partner suppliers.”

In moving the procurement role and responsibilities from TripArc to Navigatr with the creation of this new position, TripArc will now focus solely on driving Navigatr’s proprietary travel technology platforms forward, including achieving improved revenue outcomes for its advisors who book travel on its platforms. This includes its proprietary technology and booking platform, ADX (Agent Digital Experience), that has played a key role in enhancing the members’ ability to build and sustain efficient, scalable and profitable enterprises.

In his new role, Dyer will also focus on enhancing Navigatr’s commitment to building deep, long-term relationships with its partners and to ensuring that each brand within the group understands the priorities of its partners and focuses on achieving those goals.

Dyer was most recently head of Expedia Group’s Global Connectivity & Partner Solutions team, with responsibility for connectivity strategy and commercial relationships with global distribution system (GDS) partners and other airline, car rental, hotel and vacation rental connectivity providers. Dyer had been with Expedia Group since 2006, previously serving as vice president, global supply at Egencia, Expedia Group’s corporate travel management division, prior to its sale to American Express Global Business Travel. Before that, he served in a variety of other roles at the company, including as the primary legal counsel for the company’s Tour & Transport Group, as a director of strategy and business development for lodging partner services and, before that, as corporate counsel in the legal and corporate affairs team.

Dyer earned his Juris Doctor degree from The University of Michigan Law School, graduated from Whitman College with a Bachelor of Arts in History, and holds an MACD in Commercial Diplomacy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.
