Nexion Shares Agency Updates at Annual Conference

Nexion Travel Group is poised to end 2023 by delivering a record amount of leads and marketing programs to its members. Along those lines, the host agency unveiled new social media tools and greater access to the lead-generation tool, Agent Profiler, at its annual member conference CoNexion, which took place August 19-27 this year.

Nexion is stepping up its offering with more social media resources included in its membership. New social media tool kits give members posts and reels for their professional platforms. This content is curated to be on the forefront of social media trends and best practices. Photos, videos and writing spotlight Nexion’s supplier and destination partners for engaging content that is presented as the advisor’s own.

Mai Da Pra, senior director of marketing, said “Travel advisors know the leads that come in from sites like Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, but they have often struggled to know how to present professional content to their viewers. This Nexion-exclusive content is something that makes every member look like a social pro.”

Lead generation is at the core of Nexion’s marketing efforts, and for the first half of 2023, the host agency has delivered 3,006 leads to members in the U.S. through Agent Profiler. This number puts Nexion on track to exceed its 2022 number of 5,112 leads distributed to members.

In addition, Agent Profiler recently introduced the “Super Agent” designation, where top users of Agent Profiler can earn a badge that will bring them to the top of searches, making it easy for advisors to be noticed and travelers to zero in on experts. Users are expected to have complete profiles, making use of all of Agent Profiler’s features, besides a certain level of expertise and client reviews.

Nexion Travel Group also announced that it has refreshed its “Cruise Block Space Program” for members. The agency has added internal resources to enhance the program, giving travel advisors the ability to book and lock in cruise fares at current rates while also offering onboard credits to their clients.

A curated selection of cruise lines is already participating in Nexion’s “Cruise Block Space Program.” Many cruise lines offer space itself, but others are also focusing on onboard credit that only Nexion members can offer their travelers.

Nexion members are free to book large blocks of cruise cabins for a group. Under the “Cruise Block Space Program,” they can also book single cabins for their clients. Once booked, the rate is locked in at the current rate. As participating supplier partners release cruise deployments (for instance, Europe 2025), prices tend to go up. However, Nexion’s block ensures a great deal for clients of member advisors who plan ahead.
