Pleasant Holidays, Journese Expand South America Product

Pleasant Holidays and Journese, its luxury brand, have announced the expansion of their South America product with the addition of vacation packages to Argentina and Peru. The initial portfolio will comprise 40 hotels and resorts; over 60 sightseeing excursions, including private and shared options; and four guided trips exploring the culture, history, natural wonders, wine and cuisine of these destinations. Focused on the region’s most popular vacation destinations for the U.S. travel market, the expansion includes Buenos Aires, El Calafate, Puerto Iguazú, Mendoza and Ushuaia in Argentina; and Cusco City, Lima, Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley in Peru.

Pleasant Holidays and Journese originally launched their South America vacations product in October 2018 with Colombia. Packages include customized vacations for FIT and groups, including flights in all classes; hotel accommodation; airport transfers, tours and activities including private options; and travel protection coverage with cancel-for-any-reason options.

The South America hotel portfolio features popular brands, including Best Western, Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott and Meliá, among others. Key airline partners serving Argentina and Peru from major U.S. cities include American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, LATAM Airlines and United Airlines. Multi-destination vacations with intra-destination flights within South America or combining South America with Central America destinations in Belize, Costa Rica and Panama are also available.

Dea: Both brands have announced limited-time offers, including daily breakfast, room upgrades and bonus tours on select guided vacation itineraries. The offer is valid on new bookings made by February 13, 2022 for travel through December 15, 2022.
