The Travel Institute Announces Complimentary Advisor Training

The Travel Institute has announced its early 2022 webinar lineup providing complimentary advisor training on key industry topics from growing one’s business to best-practice communications and marketing, tax-saving strategies, selling key leisure destinations and more.

The following are part of The Travel Institute’s webinar lineup for the first quarter of 2022.

Grow Your Travel Business by Design: Hosted by author, motivational speaker and personal business coach Mike Marchev, CTC, the session is scheduled for January 27, 11:30 a.m. (EST) and introduces a set of steps for growth, enhancing businesses with higher profits and greater personal satisfaction. Besides nearly two dozen sales and marketing ideas, advisors will be introduced to several business-building tips, a 12-word marketing strategy and a four-word sales philosophy that will differentiate them from their peers with significant business improvements. Marchev will also take questions if time permits.

An Inside Look at the IRS and Tax Saving Strategies: Back by popular demand, IRS problem solvers Phil Liberatore, CPA, and David Maracine, CPA, share little-known IRS tax rules and specific ways of saving on one’s income taxes. Independent contractors, work-from-home professionals and small-business owners can benefit from this webinar scheduled for February 1, 2 p.m. (EST).

Factors that Influence Someone Opening Your Email: Dana Zificsak, CTIE, founder, TA Sales Lab and Guts, Grit, Goals LLC, will offer advice on how to write the email subject line so it draws attention using top-performing words; avoid being marked as spam; and get people to start reading the content in preview before even opening the email. The webinar is scheduled for February 15, 1 p.m. (EST), and will wrap up with a Q&A session.

Increase Your Digital Footprint, Find New Leads and Increase Marketing Success: Andy Ogg, CTIE, co-owner of various travel websites, will offer tips for digital marketing and help unlock the power in digital marketing for advisors’ travel business. The webinar is scheduled for February 24, 1 p.m. (EST).

Antarctica: Explore the Options: Jennifer Reynolds, CTIE and long-time supporter of The Travel Institute, will join advisors for a presentation which will help them understand why their travelers should visit the continent and who else is going. Advisors can take a look at itineraries and types of ships, besides a peek into a typical day of landings, zodiac trips, kayaking and penguins. The session, scheduled for March 6, 1 p.m. (EST), will offer a good understanding of the opportunities that exist when presenting and selling Antarctica.

Italy and the Intangible Value of Using a DMC: In this session scheduled for March 29, 11 a.m. (EST), advisors will join Andrea Grisdale, CEO, IC Bellagio, to understand why working with a destination management company (DMC) for travel to Italy is critical to their success. Today, more than ever, working with a DMC is fundamental to maximizing their clients’ return on investment while also providing the 24/7 service that ensures you are a star in the eyes of your clients.

Cover Your Assets…Before You’re Sued: In this session, advisors will join Michele Cartwright, CTA, ACC, VTA, president and owner, Destinations by Design, LLC, as she shares insight from her own legal adventures. She will discuss building an agency with a strong foundation, including exploring business structures, properly implementing authorizations and waivers, documenting everything, and more. Scheduled to be held on April 7, noon (EST), this is the perfect webinar for both new and experienced advisors in need of a business tune up.

A Master Class on Making FAM Trips Work: In this webinar scheduled for April 27, 1 p.m. (EST), Anne Smith, CTIE, ECC, owner, Travel and Events Extraordinaire, LLC, will offer advice on FAM trips: How to prep technology to maximize onsite time, uploads and immediate marketing efforts? Who is the contact for which property? How to keep track of all the details on the go? Advisors can learn Smith’s tips and put FAM trips to work for their travel business.
