The Travel Leaders Network EDGE 2020 conference, which was scheduled for June 6 to 9 has been canceled due to travel concerns around COVID-19 (coronavirus). Travel Leaders Network tells Travel Agent it is redirecting its plans toward EDGE 2021, to be held in May 2021 at the same venue, Universal Orlando Resort

“The health and safety of you, our supplier partners, our communities and staff are of utmost importance. This was not an easy decision but is supported by all of us at Headquarters and our partners at Universal Orlando Resorts,” Travel Leaders Network said in a statement.

For those who are currently registered for EDGE 2020, all registration fees, if applicable, will be automatically refunded to your method of payment within 10 business days. There is no action for you to take, Travel Leaders says. If you booked your hotel room under the group block at either The Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando or The Cabana Bay Beach Resort, your room will be cancelled and automatically refunded within 10 business days with no action required.

Additionally, the Luxury Forum on June 5 is also no longer moving forward. For those of you who are registered for that event, Travel Leaders Network will be sending you a separate email with further information.

Travel Leaders adds it will “be rolling out impactful online sessions in the coming weeks that will support you as we continue to face this unprecedented situation.”
