Mondrian to Open Second Hotel in Mexico in 2025

Ennismore has entered into an agreement with Inzigna Capital to develop a Mondrian Hotels & Residences property in Mexico’s Tulum. Slated to open in 2025, Mondrian Tulum Hotel & Residences will be the second Mondrian in Mexico, following the opening of Mondrian Mexico City in December 2022.

Mondrian Tulum Hotel & Residences will offer 64 guestrooms and four F&B outlets, including a destination restaurant, lounge bar, specialty rooftop bar, and pool bar and grill. Other facilities include a spa, fitness center and outdoor pool, to name a few. The residential project will comprise 151 units, including different configurations from three-bedroom townhouses to a four-bedroom Casa VIP. Residents will have access to the hotel’s wellness facilities, including the yoga area and pool.

The hotel will be situated right off Coba Avenue, which connects to downtown Tulum, offering many options to enjoy live music and nightclubs to Tulum Beach, less than 1.24 miles from the hotel. Tulum is part of the Mayan Riviera in Quintana Roo, Mexico.

The developer and sponsor of Mondrian Tulum Hotel & Residences, Inzigna Capital is an investment company created in 2009. Its earlier investments include AWA Playacar Residences and Playacar Center in Playa del Carmen and Xalet Tulum Luxury Condos, a sustainable project that is currently under development.
