Hotel Simone on St. Simons Island, GA, has dropped its adults-only policy. Operated by MMI Hotel Group, the hotel is introducing new family-friendly offerings, new amenities, and summer programming for guests.
Previously, Hotel Simone solely catered to couples’ getaways and adult-only vacations. Now, parents can bring their children along, and enjoy a family outing in the Golden Isles. Each of the hotel’s 24 king suites has a private bedroom with a king bed, a kitchenette and a fold-out couch, making it well-suited for a family of three or four.
The pet-friendly hotel also offers guests proximity and access to amenities at sister property, The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort. Guests will enjoy access to all the resort’s oceanfront pools, discounted pricing at The King and Prince Golf Club, and charging privileges. Hotel Simone is just a block away from The King and Prince’s beach access and its signature restaurant, Echo.
Good to know: The hotel has partnered with Posh Carts, an electric vehicle rental service providing Moke vehicles to vacationers on St. Simons Island and surrounding areas. Hotel guests will receive the “Preferred Guest Package,” which includes rental rates for all Moke vehicles plus free delivery and pick up at the hotel.
Hotel Simone has also introduced “Summer Fridays” programming for guests. Each Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day, “Happy Hour” in the hotel’s lobby will start at 2 p.m. and includes festive tunes and decor, besides creative cocktails. The hotel will draw “Summer Friday” inspiration from a tropical destination every month.
Additionally, the hotel has curated three packages that serve as add-ons to reservations. The “Reimagine Romance Package” includes a bottle of champagne, a red rose bouquet, local Sugar Marsh Cottage chocolates and a $50 dining credit to Echo. The “Birthday Blowout Package” features a bottle of champagne alongside festive birthday décor, while the “Play & Vacay Golf Package” includes accommodations, green fees, and cart fees for one guest at The King and Prince Resort’s golf course.
