Stanley & Livingstone Boutique Hotel to Reopen on April 1

Stanley & Livingstone Boutique Hotel is slated to reopen on April 1. Located a 10-minute drive from Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, the hotel will open with a fresh yet “quintessentially historic” look following a $6 million refurbishment.

Located in the Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve, the hotel offers complimentary daily transfers, besides a perfect retreat where guests can enjoy activities such as gorge swings and game drives. The property is part of the MORE Family Collection and has 16 suites, a private spa, gym, landscaped gardens and a waterhole. Guests can enjoy sightings of passing wildlife over a meal or drinks on the terrace of 1871 at Stanley & Livingstone. Afternoon tea on the terrace features a twist: lemon in gin cocktails and champagne paired with teas, cakes and savories.

Guests visiting the game reserve can enjoy an encounter with black rhino; the proceeds of which go towards supporting the dedicated anti-poaching unit. Through their visit, guests therefore contribute directly to the preservation of one of world’s critically endangered animal species.

As part of the MORE Family Collection’s Mack & Madi Kids Explorer program, younger guests will receive bathroom amenities and a branded backpack with activities book, pencil case and crayons, besides other treats. Two interconnected sets of suites, each including one triple suite, will complete the experience for families headed to Victoria Falls.

Honeymooners and couples can opt for private suites, in-room spa treatments and a touch of romance in both dining experiences and turndowns, delivered by Alan Bailes and his team. A private travel concierge is also available to guests for on-site assistance.

As part of the reopening celebrations, the hotel is offering a discount of 30 percent for all bookings set to travel before the end of June 2022 (including bed, breakfast and Victoria Falls airport transfers).
