American Queen Voyages Launches New, Shorter Itineraries

American Queen Voyages (AQV) has launched five- and six-day itineraries launching in February 2024. These voyages will allow travelers to explore the Lower Mississippi River during shorter voyages on the contemporary riverboat American Countess.

Said Cindy D’Aoust, president, American Queen Voyages: “For new cruisers, our shorter voyages provide an introduction to river cruising, and gives them a taste of all there is to explore without having to take too much time away.”

AQV is presenting guests with the opportunity to visit iconic ports of call on a shorter voyage compared to the line’s traditional nine-day or longer cruises. These new itineraries allow travelers to experience each destination within a condensed time frame. These trips ensure guests can enjoy the culture, history and cuisine of the destinations, all in a more compact journey.

The five and six-day itineraries are round-trip New Orleans sailings, beginning on February 17 and 21, 2024. The American Countess will stop at ports of call along the Lower Mississippi River, including St. Francisville and AQV-exclusive port Nottoway, LA.

Good to know: With AQV’s “Great Ameri-Cation Sale,” guests booking these itineraries can enjoy a free category stateroom or suite upgrade, save up to $4,000, and avail of $200 “Your Choice” onboard credit per stateroom. The voyages are available for booking.
