Azamara has unveiled “Azamara Alliance,” its new trade program focused on supporting and strengthening its relationships with the line’s travel advisor community. The program launches with new tools and technologies to create a seamless experience for trade partners with a new booking platform; more intuitive Azamara Connect trade partner portal; and expanded contact center.
“A priority in this new chapter for Azamara is to provide our valued travel partners with the best support and the most efficient experience possible,” said Michelle Lardizabal, chief sales officer, North America, Azamara. “With the launch of our ‘Azamara Alliance’ program, it is our mission to develop opportunities to support our travel partners and equip them with the tools, so we succeed together.”
Azamara will continue to expand and enhance its relationships and offerings with travel partners as an independent cruise line. For the new tools, live training sessions will be hosted in January 2023 with self-paced learning tools to help travel advisors familiarize themselves with the new booking platform and to get the most out of the new Azamara Connect.
Under Azamara Alliance’s launch, the program includes:
- New Versonix Seaware booking platform – Seamlessly accessible through Azamara Connect, the booking engine with easily accessible features and functionality for travel advisors to book across channels over one integrated platform with a 360-degree view of everything. Travel partners can book FIT, plus back-to-back and combo voyages, including cruise, air, shore excursions, onboard packages and more.
- Refreshed Azamara Connect trade portal – The enhanced Azamara Connect will provide on-demand access to imagery, promotions, marketing templates, and all the tools travel advisors might need to support sales efforts.
- Expanded contact center – In order to provide faster and more responsive service, Azamara’s contact center is doubling its number of advisors and integrating new systems for faster answers and information, such as callback services beginning later this month.
