Crystal President Tom Wolber to Host the 2018 President’s Cruise

Crystal announced that President & CEO Tom Wolber will host the line’s annual President’s Cruise aboard Crystal Serenity this July. The “Vineyards and Vistas” voyage sets sail on July 29, 2018, from London to Monte Carlo on a 14-day journey through western Europe, and will include special events and activities hosted by Wolber and his wife, Sharon. On the interactive voyage, guests can attend a presentation by Wolber on what is on the horizon for Crystal, special receptions and dinners throughout the sailing, as well as a hosted shore excursion in Barcelona, Spain.

The two-week itinerary sails the coast of France with two overnights in Bordeaux and one night each in Lisbon and Barcelona, allowing travelers to immerse themselves in the wine and culinary culture found in the destinations. Crystal Adventures shore excursions offer opportunities to visit famous wineries at Médoc and St-Emilion, cooking classes and winemaking instruction in Bordeaux; special port tasting in Lisbon; and an exploration of traditional tapas in Barcelona. Dozens of other excursions cater to a host of varied interests, from an off-road adventure in Portugal’s Sintra Mountain to the castle gardens and manors of Guernsey.

The cruise will also be a dedicated Crystal Society sailing. Fares for the 2018 President’s Cruise start at $5,585 per person, double occupancy.

Crystal’s cruise voyages are part of the Crystal Experience – featuring global journeys with Crystal Cruises, Crystal River Cruises, Crystal Yacht Expedition Cruises, Crystal AirCruises and Crystal Luxury Air. Crystal will expand its fleet with the upcoming Crystal Ravel river ship, the Crystal Endeavor expedition yacht and an entirely new class of ocean ships over the next five years.
