Victoria Cruise Lines has launched a new optional excursion. On it, clients experience the “Return to the Three Gorges" live-action performance.

The tale, directed by award-winning director Zhang Yimou, focuses on landscapes and the environment. It presents scenes from popular Chinese poems set on a river stage with choreography and hi-tech projections.

The excursion costs $49 per passenger. Guests can also buy a combo package featuring a tour of White Emperor City and the show for $73 per passenger. Pricing may fluctuate based on currency exchange rates. Passengers who do not purchase the optional excursion stay on the ship for other activities.

Also departing from Chongqing, the "Feng Yan San Guo" excursion will be maintained (time permitting) on the four-day "Three Gorges Highlights" itinerary or eight-day "Three Gorges Explorer" journey on the Victoria Grace or Victoria Sophia.
