Princess Cruises to Launch New Drinks Menu This Fall

Passengers aboard Princess Cruises ships this fall can choose from a new beverage menu that adds locally inspired cocktails and new spirits, wines and beers.

Rob Floyd, a resident mixologist on the TV show Bar Rescue, crafted the new signature cocktail menu built from destination-specific ingredients. Each drink combines what Floyd calls “the three T’s: taste, technique and tale.” Every cocktail possesses a compelling flavor combination, is created with skill and craft and is inspired by a story. Though the new menu will mostly consist of alcoholic drinks, guests 21 and under can also participate thanks to a couple of “zero-proof cocktails.”

Princess Cruises will also add 39 new wines to its catalogue. Doug Frost, a Master Sommelier and Master of Wine, helped the cruise line pick out the new menu. The company plans to announce the precise details soon.

Along with the new cocktails and wines, Princess Cruises will introduce 20 new spirits and 17 additional international and craft beers. The bars and lounges throughout the ship will serve different themed menus, allowing for passengers to explore throughout the ship to taste the various offerings.

The cruise line is also currently running its Sip and Sail promotion. Available for guests who may miss out on the new menu, this summer deal provides complimentary drinks for balcony, mini-suite and suite bookings.
