Regent Unveils Free Pre- or Post-European Land Programs

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced a new offer to provide travelers with more immersive experiences by including a free pre- or post-European land program to extend their cruise vacation. Regent’s “Gift of Travel” offer further enhances the guest experience by providing a free “Pre- Or Post-Cruise Land Program” on 57 sailings across Europe, from April through November 2023.

The offer is valid for new bookings only between November 1, 2022 and January 6, 2023. “Gift of Travel” is available on sailings on board Seven Seas Mariner, Seven Seas Splendor, Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Navigator, in destinations including Piraeus, Southampton, Copenhagen, Istanbul and Barcelona. There are seven free pre- or post-cruise land programs to choose from, available on all suite categories, based on availability.

On the “Mystical Cappadocia” itinerary, guests can explore the history of Cappadocia for three nights. They can visit exquisitely preserved examples of ancient cave churches at Uçhisar Castle and the Göreme Open-Air Museum. They can also travel nearly 200 feet underground to Derinkuyu, to witness unique rock formations known as “fairy chimneys.”

On the “London & Charming Cotswolds” itinerary, guests can explore both cosmopolitan London and the quintessentially British countryside in the Cotswolds, admiring popular attractions such as Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London and the city of Bath, including a visit to the ancient Roman Baths.

Authentic Madrid & Beyond” will enable guests to discover prominent landmarks and cities that define Spain–from Madrid to Segovia–many of them home to World Heritage sites. This four-night experience will leave guests with a deeper historical and cultural perspective of the country.

Guests who do not wish to participate in a free “Pre- or Post- Land Program” can opt to take a non-use credit of $750 per guest, up to $1,500 per suite.

Among the voyages eligible for the “Gift of Travel” offer is the 10-night “Andalusian Traditions” itinerary onboard Seven Seas Mariner, departs July 23, 2023. Ports of call include Alicante near Valencia; Arrecife (Lanzarote); and Lisbon. Guests can enjoy up to 67 free shore excursions, including in Tangier, besides an opportunity to visit the Caves of Hercules; visit the old walled medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site; or explore the Mendoubia Gardens to see a banyan tree that is more than 800 years old.

The 16-night “North Atlantic Exploration” itinerary onboard Seven Seas Splendor departs August 7, 2023. Setting sail from London, this voyage makes its way north to sail the majestic east coast of the British Isles before calling at ports including the Scottish town of Kirkwall and Nuuk in Greenland, before several stops in Iceland, including the fishing town of Grundarfjordur, the village of Akureyri or iconic Reykjavik, where the cruise debarks. Guests can enjoy up to 40 free shore excursions, including Isafjordur with steep mountains on three sides rising around a bay. Or they can go iceberg-watching in Nanortalik, South Greenland, while also looking out for humpback whales, minke whales and a range of birds.

The 12-night “Bosphorus Beauty” itinerary aboard Seven Seas Navigator departs October 29, 2023. This cruise departs from Athens (Piraeus), Greece and features a range of locales in Greece, Turkey and Cyprus, including Santorini and Limassol. With up to 59 free shore excursions available, guests can visit historic cathedrals or sail the Bodrum Peninsula in a gulet, a classic Turkish two- or three-masted wooden boat, before swimming in the intimate bay of Poyraz Limani in Turkey.
