Scenic Eclipse II Enters Final Build Phase Before April Debut

Scenic has announced that its newest Discovery Yacht, Scenic Eclipse II, has entered the final phase of its build with sea trials and final fittings ahead of its inaugural voyage on April 13. The vessel will set sail on an 11-day “Iberian Discovery” itinerary, cruising from Lisbon to Barcelona and a summer exploring the Mediterranean, Iceland and Scotland.

Here are a few highlights of the Scenic Eclipse fleet’s 2023/24 season:

The launch of a dedicated Japan season with new itineraries such as the 12-day “Cultural Wonders of Japan,” the 12-day “Iconic Japan: Sacred Cultures & Natures” and the 22-day “Japan & the Aleutian Islands.” On the new 14-day “Highlights of Greenland & Iceland” voyage, guests can explore some of the most unspoiled scenery in the world. Sailing from Copenhagen to Tromso, the route takes highlights of the world’s largest island, Greenland, and the fjords of Iceland.

Tip: With demand for its inaugural season being high, guests booking Scenic Eclipse cruises in 2023 and early 2024 by March 31 can enjoy savings of up to $5,000 per couple on more than 125 departures. Additional savings, including free economy/business-class air or additional savings, are offered to guests paying in full 12 months or more before departure, or within 72 hours when within 12 months.
