Seabourn Launches New “Seabourn Source” Web App

Luxury cruise line Seabourn has launched its new web app: Seabourn Source. The app aims to enhance travelers' onboard and shoreside experiences by providing intuitive, up-to the-minute access to daily details of their voyage directly on their smart phone, tablet or laptop. Guests can access the app on a complimentary basis aboard every Seabourn ship. Using Seabourn Source enables guests to:

  • Review daily activity and entertainment schedules
  • Peruse menus and meal times for all onboard dining venues
  • Track port times, including arrivals and departures
  • Learn about onboard spa treatments and wellness classes
  • Browse and book shore excursions
  • Connect to paid satellite internet
  • Stay on top of shipboard account records

Seabourn Source also connects travelers and readers to PressReader Offline, Seabourn’s complimentary digital newspaper and magazine service which provides full editions of more than 2,500 global newspapers and magazines. These digital publications can be downloaded to personal iOS or Android mobile devices while in port or at sea.

Gerald Mosslinger, Seabourn's vice president of hotel operations said: "Seabourn Source will enhance our guests' onboard and shoreside experience, allowing them to easily navigate and identify the information they need to plan their days and nights with just a few clicks on their personal device."

Guests can connect to Seabourn Source after connecting to the Internet via onboard WiFi. After opening the Internet browser on a mobile device or laptop, the app will open automatically. Seabourn Source also operates on the shipboard network, so users will not incur additional Internet or cellular data charges using the app’s services. Seabourn plans to continue adding new features and services to the Seabourn Source app in the coming months.
