Star Clippers Offering New Programs Aboard its Three Tall Ships

Star Clippers is offering ten themed itineraries on board its three tall ships in 2019, during sailings in the Mediterranean, South Asia and Caribbean. These include five with yoga practitioners on board, and others with a celebrity fitness instructor, famous fashion stylist, Italian chef and published author in Mediterranean history and archaeology.

Star Clipper’s yoga sailings offer sessions on deck early morning and at sunset.

Former model and celebrity personal trainer Joel Harper, whose clients include Olympic medallists, actors and musicians, will bring his custom workouts to guests on board Star Flyer’s sailing from St. Maarten on 23 March 2019.

Neapolitan chef, Armando Bisceglia, joins Royal Clipper’s round-trip sailing from Rome on 7 September 2019. The Italian celebrity chef will be serving Italian cuisine when the ship drops anchor at Ponza, Palmarola, along the Amalfi Coast, in Sicily, the volcanic island of Lipari, and while passing the volcano on the island of Stromboli.

Two archaeology-themed cruises, accompanied by historian and author Renata Scheiper, are scheduled for May 2019. These will sail from Athens around the Cyclades islands, discussing ancient Greece and the archaeology of the Mediterranean.

Celebrity stylist Samantha Brown joins Royal Clipper on 1 June 2019, for a sailing from Cannes. Her credits include over 1,000 fashion shows, New York Fashion Week and more.

The ten new, themed sailings are part of Star Clipper’s 2019 program of fully crewed, tall ship sailing voyages in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Southeast Asia, on board three of the full-rigged sailing ships.
