Delta Vacations Adds Six Domestic Cities to Destination Portfolio

With only 89,000 permanent residents, Asheville has transformed over the last couple decades into one of the most vibrant cities in the southeast.

Delta Vacations is continuing its domestic growth with the addition of six new U.S. destinations to its portfolio – Asheville, North Carolina; Aspen, Colorado; Panama City, Florida; Oakland, California; Lexington, Kentucky; and Fairbanks, Alaska. Vacation packages to these destinations are available to book now, with travel beginning December 19, 2017.

“Domestic travel has been growing in popularity among travelers,” said Elizabeth Moriarty, vice president, product development, Delta Vacations. “Quick trips allow travelers to maximize their vacation time by exploring unique places that may only be a short flight away such as these destinations.”

In each destination, Delta Vacations offers a range of accommodations like boutique hotels, country inns and beach resorts. With flight service aboard Delta and optional add-ons like car rentals, travel agents can fully customize their clients’ vacation experience when they book their trip with Delta Vacations.

With the addition of these U.S. cities and others across the globe, Delta Vacations now offers more than 300 destinations around the world. In September 2017, Delta added Tahiti to its destination portfolio, offering four islands including the main island of Tahiti and Bora Bora.

Delta Vacations, the official vacation provider of Delta Air Lines offers travel agents one-stop shopping for vacation packages that bundle flights aboard Delta and its strategic partners – Air France, KLM, Alitalia, Aeromexico and Virgin Atlantic – with stays at more than 4,000 hotels and resorts. Delta Vacations also offers rental cars and hundreds of activities, tours and excursions that can be added to vacation packages.
