The conference will take place from September 14-16 at the Hilton Barbados Resort. Richard Sealy, chairman of the CTO, says this is the perfect time to feature the Sandals brand since the all-inclusive chain has been thriving lately with new hotels in Grenada and Barbados and expansions planned for both Mexico and Tobago

“The brand is in a good place right now, so we thought hearing from the CEO of this very progressive Caribbean hotel brand will be very useful,” says Sealy.

Sealy also pointed out that the other major development taking place will be the announcement of a new chairperson for the CTO. Sealy says a new CTO chairperson will officially be announced on September 15.

“The SOTIC is for everyone who is a tourism leader, a thought leader, educators, travel agents, trade professional, it’s for marketers, it’s for students, it’s for everyone who is involved in and who has been touched by the tourism industry,” says Hugh Riley, secretary general of the CTO.
