South Australian Tourism Commission to Host Trade Roadshow

Thirteen of The South Australian Tourism Commission’s top tourism operators will be going on a Trade Roadshow in North America from August 18 to August 23, 2019.

The roadshow will host events in cities across the U.S., including New York, Chicago and Los Angeles for brief meetings with top travel trade.

The roadshow acts as a means for trade and media to learn about the WOW (Wildlife, Outback, and Wine) experiences, the commission said. These events are designed to appeal to advisors and wholesalers whose clients consider themselves travelers, as opposed to tourists, and seek authentic luxury, adventure, wine and culinary, cultural, and wildlife experiences.

Over a dozen South Australian operators will be showcased at the roadshow, representing products including luxury accommodation, immersive tour experiences, and renowned wineries. It will finish in Los Angeles just prior to the North American Australia Marketplace, which is taking place during the week of August 26.

  • Small Batch Wine Tours
  • The Frames
  • The Louise Barossa Valley

South Australia is home to Kangaroo Island, the Barossa wine region and city of Adelaide. South Australia is located in the southern half of the country, and it is the largest of Australia’s six states.
