Tourism Ireland Kicking Off U.S. Sales Mission

“Ireland is open for business, and the time to press that ‘Green Button’ is now”—that’s the message that Tourism Ireland is sharing as it brings its “Best of Ireland” sales mission to cities across the U.S. this spring.

After two years of virtual events, Tourism Ireland is getting back to live, in-person events again in 2022. Its “Best of Ireland” program kicks off the week of April 25 with 15 Irish industry partners representing visitor attractions and a variety of accommodation providers from around the island of Ireland.  The trade events will provide a valuable opportunity for qualified high-end travel advisors in Boston, New York, Washington, D.C. and Chicago to hear first-hand from suppliers about new travel experiences and help them grow their leisure business to Ireland. Similar events will take place on the west coast week of May 16 in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle.

This year, Tourism Ireland is rolling out its biggest-ever marketing program in the United States to restart tourism to the island of Ireland. These events intend to provide the opportunity to remind travel advisors that folks in Ireland cannot wait to welcome back American visitors.

Attendees at the “Best of Ireland” sales events will be treated to Irish music, food and experiential activities as the “Green Button” message is brought to life. Key themes for the evening will include sessions on Luxury, Outdoors and Ancestry/Affinity group travel.

Among others, partners joining Tourism Ireland on the April "Best of Ireland" sales mission include Ashford Castle and The Lodge at Ashford Castle, Authentic Vacations, Brendan Vacations, Connemara Adventure Tours, Globus Family of BrandsLuxurious Ireland, Lynott ToursSceptre Vacations and Visit Armagh. Also in attendance will be several U.S.-based tour operators and airline partners.
