AC Hotels by Marriott Debuts in South Korea

AC Hotels by Marriott has announced the launch of AC Hotel by Marriott Seoul Gangnam, marking the brand’s debut in South Korea. The hotel features 274 guestrooms which offer sleek furnishings, open closet system and hardwood floors. It also offers four Premier Pool Rooms and a Premier Pool Suite, featuring private swimming pools and sunbeds on their terraces. Amenities include Bluetooth speakers, coffee machines, air purifiers and Korres toiletries.

The hotel is located in the Yeoksam-dong area of Gangnam district, a corporate hub that is also home to shopping, dining and entertainment venues. Seonjeongneung and Bongeunsa Temple, both of which are on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, are located nearby. Guests can also go shopping at Dongdaemun Design Plaza and the Chung-dam district.

The brand’s signature offerings include the Spanish-inspired AC Kitchen, an all-day dining restaurant, which serves daily buffets with local and international favorites. The rooftop bar Kloud features floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor terrace, and serves crafted cocktails and snacks. The signature AC Lounge offers artisan coffee, tea and crafted beverages.

Other facilities include AC Fitness, the hotel’s gym, equipped with cardio equipment and free weights; a sauna; a kids’ lounge with an indoor playground operated in collaboration with Kids Skolle; and 2,346 square feet of flexible event space.
