Alyn Williams to Host Cooking Demonstrations at Grand Isle Resort & Spa

Michelin Star Chef Alyn Williams will host three days filled with cooking demonstrations, brunch and specialty dinners at Grand Isle Resort & Spa in Great Exuma, Bahamas. He will pass down his gastronomic techniques to Bahamians interested in the culinary arts.

On Friday, August 23, guests could dine at 23 North Beach Club, Grand Isle Resort’s newly opened pool club and restaurant, with a special menu created by Chef Alyn. Dishes offered include crispy parmesan polenta; snow crab with cucumber, pickled mushrooms, apple, dashi jelly and oyster sauce mayo; local snapper with remoulade, crispy potato and lemon puree; and more. 
The next day, guests could attend cooking demonstrations by the pool to learn how Chef Alyn creates some of his signature dishes.

In addition, Chef Williams will host a poolside Barbecue Brunch at 23 North Beach Club on Sunday, August 25, where guests will be able to try his cooking, including potato pancakes, barbecue lobster sub, barbecue leg of lamb, barbecue whole grouper and more.

Chef Alyn Williams launched his eponymous restaurant, Alyn Williams at The Westbury, in November 2011. The next year, he received the "National Chef of the Year" title and his first Michelin Star.

Guests looking to experience Chef Alyn’s specialty dinners can book rooms at Grand Isle Resort & Spa with the It’s Never Too Early for Fall package is currently available for booking between August 18 – October 31, which allows guests discounted villa rates, a complimentary Swimming with the Pigs Excursion for two (per bedroom) and daily complimentary breakfast for two (per bedroom) at the Palapa Grill.
