Arlo Hotels Announces Arlo Williamsburg, Opening This Fall

On the heels of Quadrum Global’s purchase of The Williamsburg Hotel, the real estate development firm has announced that the property will operate under the independent, experience-driven Arlo Hotels portfolio starting in September 2023. Arlo Williamsburg will be Arlo Hotels’ fourth property in New York City, joining Manhattan locations Arlo SoHo, Arlo NoMad and Arlo Midtown

When it first opened in 2017 as The Williamsburg Hotel, the eight-story brick tower quickly became popular with travelers and locals alike. Arlo Williamsburg has 147 guestrooms, including eight suites, each with authentic reclaimed materials and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer views of Brooklyn and the Manhattan skyline.

The hotel's 10,000-square-foot Rooftop Pool & Lounge offers 360-degree views of the Manhattan skyline, locally curated music series and a bespoke craft cocktail menu. The rooftop spot is a staple for guests and locals to experience al fresco drinks and dining during the summer months. Further, the hotel’s exclusive Water Tower Bar, an iconic fixture of the Brooklyn skyline, offers a dining experience with a custom food and cocktail menu. Guests can mingle on plush velvet chairs and sofas while enjoying views of Brooklyn, the East River and Manhattan.

The Lobby Bar offers a cocktail menu and evokes the neighborhood’s industrial roots with its reclaimed wooden floors, exposed ceiling detail and brick walls. Hanging above the bar and tracing its perimeter is a rainbow installation by local street artist Eric Rieger (also known as HOTTEA). Guests can enjoy their drinks from the velvet banquettes in the bar lounge or from its chic outdoor patio with landscaping and views of vibrant Wythe Avenue.

Arlo Williamsburg’s on-site restaurant, The Williamsburg Restaurant, merges North and South American culinary techniques with locally sourced and organic seasonal ingredients. Curated by Chef Alberto Gomez, the vegetable-forward menu includes dishes inspired by his youth that pair with the culture of late-night Williamsburg. The industrial design is consistent with brick walls and a show stopping light fixture of individually hung pendant lights, while accents of lush greenery liven up the space. On Saturdays and Sundays, the restaurant invites guests to enjoy its signature Brooklyn High Tea.

Other hotel highlights include Mirror Bar, a private event space, performance venue and semi-secret club. The emerald-green space has French Empire crystal chandeliers and velvet sofas where guests and locals can grab a bite, drink and party. The property also offers a 6,500-square-foot grand ballroom with soaring ceilings, chandeliers and sweeping staircases.

As part of the Arlo Hotels brand, Arlo Williamsburg will offer signature amenities, including fortune cookies in every room upon arrival, a community message-sharing board, and stamped postcards to send to friends and family at home. The hotel also offers access to the local Brooklyn Athletic Club and complimentary bike rentals, upon availability, for guests seeking to explore the city on two wheels.

Tip: In celebration of Arlo Williamsburg’s opening, the hotel is offering a limited-time opening rate of $329 to guests who book starting September 12, 2023. For more information, visit www.arlohotels.com
