Susurros del Corazon, a new destination from Auberge Resorts Collection on the Pacific coast of Mexico overlooking Banderas Bay, has been announced with an anticipated opening in late 2019. Susurros del Corazon will join Auberge’s group of beach escapes, including Esperanza and Chileno Bay Resort & Residences in Los Cabos, Mexico, Malliouhana in Anguilla, Nanuku in Fiji, and Mukul Resort in Nicaragua.
Situated on the Riviera Nayarit, the resort will sit on a bluff fringed by a tropical jungle that goes down to a white sand beach. The hotel’s guest houses and residences will be designed to fit in with nature, treading lightly on the land that has drawn to surfers and beachgoers to the region for decades.
Susurros del Corazon’s “bungalow by the beach” experience will begin with a collection of indoor-outdoor spaces. The resort will initially encompass 62 ocean-view hotel guest houses and 30 luxury ocean-front residences. Three scallop-shaped pools will terrace down to the beach, where guests can go surfing, snorkeling and fishing against a backdrop of the volcanic Marietas Islands, a protected wildlife refuge. Tucked among the gardens will be a spa that takes its inspiration from the region’s heritage of healing properties.
SV Capital of Denver, led by Mark Cooley, is developing Susurros del Corazon. SV has worked on national and international developments, from beach to ski destinations, to create resorts focused on combining luxury amenities and a high level of service.
