Located in the center of Panama City’s financial district, the hotel provides easy access to the city’s popular attractions, including the Old Quarter, Panama Canal and Biomuseum. The property has 125 bedrooms and 48 executive residences, and also offers a full-service spa, outdoor swimming pool. modern Panamanian fusion cuisine, and more than 10,000 square feet of event space, including a ballroom.

The Bristol Panama, a Registry Collection Hotel is managed by VerdeAzul Hotels. The property, which debuted in 1997, pays homage to Panama’s architectural heritage. It showcases more than 50 works of modern art by Latin American artists. Scott LePage, president Americas, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said in a press note: “The Bristol Panama is a luxury hospitality icon in Panama City, and we’re honored to welcome the property to the Wyndham portfolio.”

Wyndham first debuted its Registry Collection in June when it opened the 144-room, all-suite Grand Residences Riviera Cancun. Then, in September, the company announced it was adding ART Tbilisi, a Registry Collection Hotel to its portfolio. The new-build hotel is scheduled to open in 2023 with 100 rooms. The hotels create a luxury offering in the upper end of the company’s brand portfolio. Registry Collection Hotels allow owners to maintain their independence and brand individuality while tapping into the global scale of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts along with its Wyndham Rewards loyalty program.
