Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe is Officially Open

Caesars Entertainment officially unveiled Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino this week, ushering in a new era for the South Shore with an opening celebration marking the arrival of a modern luxury destination in the Sierra Nevada.

The resort welcomed guests with a champagne reception before a ceremonial ribbon-cutting with longtime partner Lisa Vanderpump, in the Caesars Republic lobby.

The party continued at the all-new Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords with live rock n’ roll performances by Tahoe Tommy and Pier Pressure and immersive artistic moments.

The opening marks the conclusion of a multi-phased transformation of the former Harveys Lake Tahoe. From the moment guests arrive, they encounter a fully reimagined lobby, a modernized casino floor and a collection of venues.

“With Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, we set out to create something truly distinctive for this market. An experience that blends the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada with the energy and innovation our guests expect,” said Anthony Carano, President & COO of Caesars Entertainment. “The grand opening represents the realization of that vision and the beginning of an exciting new era for Lake Tahoe.”

Across the resort, guests will discover a lineup of elevated experiences, from newly renovated rooms to the luxurious High Dive Pool and Lounge and a collection of dining and nightlife concepts, including WOLF by Vanderpump, Gordon Ramsay’s HELL’S KITCHEN and Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords in partnership with Clique Hospitality. The refreshed casino floor features new slot machines, table games, a modern high-limit and poker experience and renovated Caesars Sportsbook. For something more low-key, guests can check out the resort’s day-to-night coffee and cocktail bar, Cleo’s, as well as a variety of other newly designed bars, including Centro and Celeste.

“Our vision was to take everything guests have loved about this destination for decades and revitalize it through a more modern, design-forward lens,” said Karie Hall, SVP and General Manager of Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe. “The result is a resort that feels vibrant, elevated and unmistakably Tahoe, whether you’re here for the views, the dining or the moments you can’t get anywhere else.”
