Hyatt Hotels Corporation on July 2, 2026 announced the opening of Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros, a 50-room contemporary Cycladic retreat on the island of Paros, Greece, managed by SWOT Hospitality. The hotel blends the cultural heritage of the island with upscale leisure offerings and private outdoor space. This marks the Destination by Hyatt brand's second property in Greece and its first property on a Greek island, marking the brand's growing footprint, now spanning 25 hotels and resorts in nearly 10 countries globally.
With a name inspired by the ancient marble inscription discovered on Paros, the hotel invites guests to experience the island not as visitors, but as participants in an unfolding story. Located in the village of Kampos, just minutes from the airport and Parikia Port. Paros is brimming with local producers, hidden beaches and traditional Parian villages.
Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros features 50 newly built guestrooms and suites for guests ages 13 and above. Positioned throughout the property to maximize privacy, 39 rooms offer private pools, while the remaining selection all offer outdoor jacuzzis. Ranging from 30 to 42 square-meters (323 to 452 square feet), guestrooms and suites feature spacious terraces or patios, sea views, and a coastal ambiance.
The interiors reimagine traditional Greek architecture through clean lines, whitewashed forms and natural materials, including stone, wood and linen. Drawing on the natural environment of Paros, its marble, landscape and light, architect and interior designer Makridis Associates has grounded the visual language of the hotel. A palette of soft neutrals and warm earth tones are inspired by Paros marble and the textures of the island.

A Taste of the Cyclades
At NAAO, the hotel’s signature restaurant, dining follows the rhythm of the island. Breakfast begins with a signature drink and the Peskesi basket, bringing together freshly baked breads, herbs, olive oil, honey and regional cheeses. At lunch, The Parian Table presents sharing style dishes shaped by local recipes, seasonal produce and ingredients sourced from the island. As evening falls, Cycladic ingredients and techniques, including curing, sun drying and grilling, are paired with wines from Paros and the wider Cyclades, alongside a considered cocktail and zero and low alcohol offering.
Beyond the table, guests are invited to discover Paros through producer led tastings, island pantry rituals and communal gatherings.
Ancient Rituals Meet Modern Wellness
Designed as a coastal sanctuary, the hotel's wellness offering is centered around Nipson Spa, inspired by ancient Greek healing traditions. The 120-square-meter wellness area features a fitness center, two separate single-sex saunas, a double treatment room and dedicated relaxation spaces. In addition, there is a large outdoor pool for guests who seek to restore and rejuvenate.
