With a full buyout of the hotel’s boutique ABJA Spa included, the bridal party spends the day before the wedding enjoying the luxury of privacy and a selection of over 60 holistic treatments. The spa day starts with a hydrotherapy circuit including a eucalyptus-scented steam room enhanced with chromotherapy, followed by the pressure shower, sauna and jacuzzi. Massages, personalized with a variety of fresh herbs and ingredients from the property’s on-site botanical garden, focus on dissolving pre-wedding stress. Back in the suite, guests can enjoy a creativity workshop aimed at inspiring mindfulness. In this session, the gal group can make keepsakes such as handcrafted fans, natural jewelry or painting an object of their choice. A mocktail turndown service closes the day with a refreshing beverage made with sleep-promoting herbs from the garden.
The wedding day starts with a morning yoga session and a copal cleansing ceremony led by a shaman. This ancient ritual utilizes the aromatic resin of the copal tree to prepare the group spiritually for the festivities. The resin is burned, and its aromatic white smoke is believed to have the power to clear negative energies, offering protection and blessing to the participants. As the smoke envelops the group, the shaman guides them through prayers or chants, facilitating a connection with their inner selves and the surrounding nature. Next, the Presidential Suite is supplied with fresh juices, Mexican pastries and an in-suite glam squad to ensure the bridal party looks and feels their best for the main event. Professional stylists provide hair, makeup and nail services, and the resort offers professional dress pressing services to ensure that the bride’s gown and the bridal party’s attire look immaculate.
The luxury bridal suite experience additionally includes round-trip airport transfers and two-night accommodation in the presidential suite for up to six people.
