Club Med has unveiled a new water park at Club Med Punta Cana, as well as major renovations at Club Med Cancún, Club Med Gregolimano (Greece) and Club Med Serre-Chevalier (French Alps). The brand is reinforcing its commitment to sustainable tourism with plans to operate all European resorts on low-carbon energy.
North America Resort Renovations
Club Med’s largest water park is now open at Club Med Punta Cana, continuing to solidify it as North America’s family flagship resort. This tropical jungle-inspired water park offers families over 25 features across three zones with water slides, bubble pool, and more. The water park will soon include a family-friendly food truck serving savory bites, sweet treats and beverages.
Family-friendly enhancements at Club Med Cancún include a sports and wellness island offering yoga sessions and facilities for archery, bocce ball, mini golf, multi-sport courts and the Circus School by Club Med, offering activities such as trapeze and bungee. Additionally, the Family Oasis and Children’s Clubs located next to the pickleball courts and Aguamarina family section feature spacious accommodations, pool, kids’ bar, new water park, and more.
European Resort Renovations
Club Med Gregolimano on the island of Evia in Greece, has reopened following a $32 million renovation. The resort has expanded its room capacity to 497 and introduced new eco-friendly upgrades including thermal solar panels and drought-resistant landscaping. A new wellness area, created in partnership with French skincare brand Sothys, features treatment cabins, a Zen pool, padel courts and yoga classes overlooking the Aegean Sea.
Nestled in France’s Hautes-Alpes, Club Med Serre-Chevalier has received a property-wide eco-friendly transformation. The renovation prioritized sustainability, with upgrades to reduce energy consumption and new charging stations for electric vehicles. Serre-Chevalier aims to achieve the BREEAM “Very Good” rating for these improvements.
