Flamingo Las Vegas Adds New Events for Summer

Flamingo Las Vegas is introducing two new weekly evening events for the summer of 2018 - Electric Safari, an LGBT night swim every Thursday premiering Thursday, May 17, and Cálido Beach, a Latin night every Saturday beginning Saturday, May 26.

Electric Safari

The first installment of Electric Safari, which is produced in partnership with Artificial People Las Vegas Presents, will feature “The Cube Guys” and “Noir D Costas.” Doors are at 9 p.m. Guests must be at least 21 years of age. Cover is $5 for Nevada residents and Flamingo hotel guests, and $10 for non-Nevada residents. Guests can gain free entry to the event by signing up for the guest list at apvegas.com.

Artificial People Las Vegas Presents is a local promotions group that was created by Artificial People, a team that has been delivering musical experiences to the LGBT community since 2013 with events across California. Their signature vibe has an all-inclusive mantra “no matter who you, you can come, feel safe and have a good time.” While Electric Safari is geared towards the LGBT community, everyone is welcome to attend, Flamingo said.

Cálido Beach

Cálido Beach will open at 7 p.m. and will feature happy hour specials and no cover for ladies. All guests must be at least 21 years of age. Cover varies.

Bringing the party to Cálido Beach is popular Latin promoter and founder of Maven Entertainment Group, Jason Aguilar. Maven’s group of noteworthy Latin DJ’s are best known for their involvement in the best Latin Nights in the city which include Noches Azul at Blue Martini and DESEO Latin Sundays at OMNIA Nightclub.

Electric Safari and Cálido Beach are the newest additions to the Flamingo’s pool entertainment lineup this season. GO Pool Dayclub’s confirmed headliners for the summer of 2018 include Taboo of The Black Eyed Peas, Nick Cannon, Tone Loc, Coolio, Austin Mahone, Naughty by Nature, Bow Wow, Mase, Ja Rule, Jesse McCartney and many more. Nestled in a 15-acre tropical retreat with pools, lagoons and a cascading waterfall, GO Pool is open to the public seven days a week and offers The Strip’s best drink specials and free entry for all guests ages 21 years and older all day Sunday through Friday.
