Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo finished another round of updates, following its $35 million renovation in December 2017. Changes include a new Latin steakhouse, renovated spa, new private concierge lounge, a transformed fitness and wellness center and new breakfast buffet and juice bar.

Starting November 20, guests will be able to visit the Peninsula Papagayo golf clubhouse and dine at the resort’s new Latin steakhouse. Dishes will be created by chef Gerardo Astorga and include a 45-day Sabanero steak, filet mignon and tomahawk chop. The restaurant, designed by international design studio Denton House, will feature indoor and terrace dining.

The resort’s updated spa now includes a new pre-treatment relaxation lounge and new steam rooms in the men’s and women’s locker rooms, in addition to its post-treatment indoor cabanas, outdoor terrace with hot and cool hydrotherapy pools and 18 spa treatment rooms.

The property’s fitness and wellness center now offers a new design with Technogym equipment and improved exterior space for ocean-view yoga and spin classes. Guests will be able to choose from a selection of new fitness classes which include Tibetan Bowl Meditation, Barre Sculp, Pilates Stability Ball, Cardio Dance and more.

The Four Seasons resort has also introduced a new concierge lounge. The space will provide interactive screens showcasing the resort’s various activities as well as a Papagayo Explorers Club guide who can help guests plan their next excursion. Elsewhere in the resort, the Bahia restaurant will now offer a new breakfast buffet and juice bar.

The resort also plans to finish building its new collection of oceanfront residences in early 2020. First announced in December 2017, the new development will consist of 20 three-, four- and five-bedroom villas.
