Greyfinch Chatham Inn, located in Chatham, MA, has unveiled its property-wide renovation. Formerly known as the Chatham Highlander Village Inn, Greyfinch Chatham Inn has debuted with a new name; four new room categories designed for travelers of all sizes; enhanced and fenced-in outdoor spaces (perfect for families with small children); a private pool as an alternative to the beach; and new offerings such as Priority Bicycles for guests. Inspired by the coastal setting, the updated design uses a mix of nautical and modern elements.
In addition to the hotel’s revamped spaces, Greyfinch guests have a range of new programming on property that will be brought to life through pop-ups and partnerships with local businesses, from art and floral workshops to food tastings and wellness offerings.
The lobby and outdoor bistro greet guests with woven textured light fixtures and a ceramic boat hull suspended above the front desk. Guests can relax by the pool during the day and cozy up by the fire pits in the evening. Guestrooms have custom-designed furniture, updated bathrooms with glass showers and double vanities, while the suites feature a kitchenette. Guests can additionally make use of Greyfinch Chatham Inn’s complimentary bicycles to ride into town and dine at nearby sister restaurant, the Wild Goose Tavern, for downtown outdoor dining on Main Street. Its menu highlgiths locally sourced seafood and fresh ingredients; it also offers organic and gluten-free dishes. On the third Tuesday of every month, guests can enjoy “Taco Tuesday” with live entertainment on the lawn.
This seaside New England town is located at the southeastern tip of Cape Cod, known for its beaches and landmarks such as Chatham Lighthouse, and the Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge. Good to know: The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority now operates the new seasonal CapeFLYER weekend train service, taking travelers from Boston to Cape Cod. Guests can also fly into Chatham Municipal Airport, just a four-minute drive away from the Greyfinch Chatham Inn, or travel by car via the Sagamore Bridge at the eastern end of the Cape Cod Canal. Bus services are also offered directly from Boston Logan International Airport to Hyannis and Harwich via the Plymouth & Brockton Bus Line, or the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority’s daily bus services from Hyannis to Orleans.
