Harrah’s Las Vegas Celebrates 50 Years on The Strip

Harrah’s Las Vegas has announced a month-long birthday bash to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Guests can experience F&B specials, participate in social media sweepstakes, and enjoy spa and entertainment offers throughout October. The Las Vegas Strip property opened in 1973 as the Holiday Casino and rebranded as Harrah’s after William F. Harrah acquired the property in 1992. Since then, the brand has expanded to include 18 resorts in the Caesars Entertainment portfolio.

In recent years, Harrah’s Las Vegas has made significant enhancements with renovations of guestrooms and common areas throughout the casino floor. The resort has opened several new restaurants led by celebrity chefs and offers a variety of entertainment options. Later this year, Harrah’s will unveil a multimillion-dollar redesign of its main entrance and porte-cochère.

The Spa at Harrah’s Las Vegas is offering a “Cheers to 50 Years Massage.” Following the service, guests can sip on a celebratory glass of champagne. Guests can also enjoy a “Golden Jubilee Facial” with a celebratory glass of champagne. Both treatments last 50 minutes and are priced at $150.

Visitors can also celebrate with a 50 percent discount on show tickets until October 30. Participating shows include “Donny Osmond,” “Menopause The Musical,” “X Country” and “HYPROV: Improv Under Hypnosis.” Discounted tickets can only be purchased online (www.ticketmaster.com). Harrah’s High Roller Observation Wheel and FlyLINQ Zipline at The LINQ Promenade are offering a 50 percent discount throughout October, for any date until the end of 2023, as well. Discounted tickets can only be purchased online (www.ticketmaster.com).

Exclusive anniversary menus and special drinks are being offered to mark Harrah’s 50th anniversary. Guests can visit Ramsay’s Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay for “Harrah’s 50th Anniversary Menu”; and Ruth’s Chris Steak House for the “Anniversary Tasting Menu.” Both menus are priced at $150 per guest. Throughout the anniversary month, drinks will be served at Ramsay’s Kitchen, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, The Lounge, Piano Bar, Lobby Bar, Signature Bar and Fulton Street Food Hall Bar.

Good to know: Harrah’s Las Vegas continues to expand its culinary lineup with new restaurants such as Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay, PizzaCake by Buddy Valastro and Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux. Additionally, guests can enjoy cocktails and spirits at the newly opened The Lounge in Harrah’s casino floor while sports fans can view action-packed moments at the renovated Caesars Race & Sportsbook at Harrah’s.

Harrah’s Las Vegas also offers a new and modern High Limit Slot zone on the casino floor. Guests can play their favorite slots, such as the new Double Top Dollar, Pinball, Huff N’ More Puff, Dragon Cash and Triple Double Diamond. Base denominations on the High Limit Slot machines range from $1 to $500.
