Hotel Mousai Announces Opening of South Tower in Puerto Vallarta

Tafer Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Hotel Mousai’s South Tower located in the south zone of Puerto Vallarta. Sitting adjacent to the resort’s North Tower, the South Tower adds 72 suites, bringing the property’s guestroom inventory to 145. Guests will have access to three new gourmet restaurants, a rooftop with infinity pool, spa and gym.

The hotel’s South Tower Suites have large sliding glass doors that lead to terraces with jacuzzis and hammocks. Suites also offer king size beds and are available with connecting doors to form Two-Bedroom Suites for larger groups. The Corner Suites are equipped with wraparound terraces offering ocean or jungle views. Guests staying in the Ultra Suites, located on the upper floors of the resort, can enjoy complimentary butler service, complimentary access to the healing hydrotherapy circuit at Spa Imagine, and a custom pillow and aromatherapy menu.

The penthouse suites come with wraparound floor-to-ceiling windows, bespoke furnishings and lighting. In-room amenities include a premium bar, in-suite breakfast, butler service and welcome amenities. The South Tower also has a gym, complete with the latest fitness machines, free weights, a yoga room, showers and lockers.

The South Tower is home to three new restaurants: DAO, NOI and the Rooftop Restaurant and Bar. DAO is a Chinese restaurant located on the bridge between the two Mousai towers, while NOI is an Italian eatery that has an open-air kitchen, where guests can watch their meal being prepared. The Rooftop Restaurant and Bar is ideal for watching the sunset and sipping on hand-crafted cocktails. The rooftop offers views of Banderas Bay.

Hotel Mousai guests can also explore the newly introduced TierraLuna Village—an open-air shopping and entertainment concept where art, gastronomy, and culture converge. Located within the neighboring Garza Blanca Preserve development, TierraLuna Village hosts a range of events; from art walks and weekly farmers markets, to live music and cocktail hour. Three new restaurants Karuma, Canú, and Kuali are also in the pipeline.
