The Hoxton to Debut in Spain on April 25

The Hoxton will open in Barcelona on April 25, and bring to the neighborhood of El Poblenou something new for locals and guests alike.

Established during the industrial revolution, El Poblenou has undergone transformation in recent years as part of the 22@ District urban renewal project. As a result, old mills and factories have been converted into artist studios, design showrooms, craft breweries, restaurants and art schools.

The hotel will have 240 bedrooms with a Mediterranean feel and floor-to-ceiling windows flood the spaces with light. The rooms will be available in five categories, including a new Homey category, with functional kitchens and the option of two double beds. It is ideal for families and extended stays.

The Hoxton will also be home to Tope, a rooftop bar and taqueria with a pool, along with views over the Sagrada Familia. It will offer a rotating menu of tacos on house-made tortillas. Guests can also enjoy margaritas pulled from the poolside slushie machine, wines on tap from local Spanish vineyards, and beers from small local breweries. Four Corners is a pizza restaurant, sun terrace, slice shop and bodega. It is located on the ground floor and specializes in deep-dish Detroit-style pizza served in square pies or slices. It will be overseen by New York-based pizzaiolo, Anthony Falco. The restaurant will be open all-day, every day for eat-in and takeout (including room service). The menu will include small plates using fresh and local produce, salads, classic cocktails and natural wines.

To one side of the lobby, three meeting and events spaces will make up The Apartment, along with La Cave, a multifunctional basement space that will host local cultural programs and community events.

Good to know: Guests who book before April 25 can avail of €160 pre-opening rates. The hotel will also add €50 restaurant credit to every booking.
