Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa Announces Upgrades

Located on a stretch of Vietnam’s Non Nuoc Beach, the gateway to the city of Danang and UNESCO-listed Hoi An, Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa has announced the launch of a series of enhancements, including refreshed accommodation, social and culinary venues, children’s activities and more.

What can you expect? Camp Hyatt has been expanded and relaunched with four distinct indoor and outdoor play zones, namely Earth, Water, Fire and Wood. This immersive children’s club offers a range of activities, including toddler play pits, ball pools, canopy swings, climbing nets, a water obstacle course, and more. These upgraded spaces were officially unveiled recently.

In addition, the newly opened Terrasse offers pre-dinner drinks, artistic cocktails and canapés. The space includes comfy sofas and brazero (fire pits), with classic silent movies screened here daily. Osteria al Mare, the resort’s authentic Italian restaurant is being rebranded with a new creative concept. Overseen by Executive Chef Pierre Tavernier and Italian Chef Marco Pistillo, the restaurant will be relaunched in May, showcasing casual and contemporary Italian cuisine and a “Share Share” concept, perfect for families and friends.

Vive Océane beach club restaurant is set to launch in June. This al fresco lounge will offer French-Mediterranean and Vietnamese cuisine. Guests here can expect a show kitchen and regular entertainment shows, DJs and bands creating an upbeat atmosphere. The beachfront venue will also provide a setting for outdoor events, while cabanas are available to rent.

A new Art Gallery will also be unveiled so local talent and visiting artists can showcase their work. This collaborative venue will be officially launched in June with an exhibition by photographer Réhahn.

Good to know: The resort’s 18 three-bedroom Pool Villas are being refurbished, and will include a garden area where families can play together. A new pathway leading directly from the villas to the beach will also put the sands of Non Nuoc Beach on guests’ doorstep. This renovation project is set to be completed by June 2023.

Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa offers easy access to three nearby UNESCO World Heritage Sites: The Imperial City of Hue, Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary. Tehre are 198 guestrooms and suites, 144 one- to three-bedroom residences and 18 three-bedroom villas, plus five outdoor pools, a fitness center, spa, a selection of restaurants and bars, and nearly 2,300 feet of sandy beach.

Many of the new facilities, including Vive Océane and the Art Gallery have already soft-opened ahead of their official launch dates.
