JW Marriott Venice Reopens With New Experiences for 2023 Season

JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa, located on the Isola delle Rose, a few minutes by boat from Piazza San Marco, is welcoming back its guests for the 2023 season with a series of personalized experiences centered around relaxation, wellness and fine cuisine.

Among the latest news for the 2023 season, a new gastronomic experience launches with Agli Amici Dopolavoro, under the direction of Michelin-starred chef Emanuele Scarello. It offers an innovative menu that makes full use of the island’s own vegetable gardens, the region’s rich produce and fresh fish.

Additional restaurants include Sagra Rooftop Restaurant, led by Executive Chef Giorgio Schifferegger with the constant support of Chef de Cuisine Rosario Martorana and Executive Sous Chef Raffaele Lotto, three bars, the Pop up Bar signed by Moet at the Infinity Pool and the Pop Up at the Pizzeria Gourmet by maestro Renato Bosco, where, exclusively for the 2023 summer season, guests will be able to enjoy the pizza that have made the Veronese Chef famous. Guests can also enjoy a poolside lunch tasting barbecue dishes at the Giardino Grill

Foodies will also enjoy the resort’s Sapori Cooking Academy, with a full calendar of activities for guests, including two masterclasses per day on Italian cuisine and pastry-making. Another gastronomic activity is the Chic Nic, an informal, relaxed picnic lunch to enjoy surrounded by the island's nature, tasting typical Italian sandwiches, healthy salads and delicious homemade snacks. Chic Nic is ideal for couples and families with children.

In the Dispensa, guests will be able to buy a wide selection of JW Venice-branded products—from bottled cocktails dedicated to roses, to JW-branded pasta, JW-branded honey, traditional homemade Venetian fugassa and more.

JW Venice SPA offers both hotel guests and external customers a place to regenerate and relax, with a wide range of high-end holistic packages, products, and treatments through a new collaboration with BAKEL, a 100 percent Italian brand that invests in research and development.

BAKEL offers the brand new JALU-3D Pro Instant 3D Treatment, a line of treatments designed with an intensive program aimed to revitalize and to eliminate the signs of time and with a visible and immediate effect of revitalized, relaxed and luminous skin. Nested in the simple buildings of the early 1900s, the Spa, with its 18,836 square feet, has eight cabins overlooking the lagoon and a suite, a sauna and bio sauna, the hammam and a heated indoor pool, which is extended outside through a sequence of sliding glass windows. From May, the evening spa will once again be available until 11 p.m., for those who wish to enjoy the relaxation under the stars.

JW Marriott Venice offers experiences specially curated to entertain the little ones during the day. The resort includes the equipped Kidz Club, supported by Brick4Kidz, which will not only offer young guests a "children's room" but a program of activities involving both the resort and the city that will help parents to entertain children during sightseeing tours, proposed in collaboration with ShowMeVenice, while providing plenty of educational ideas. JW Marriott Venice offers a new way of conceiving family entertainment, which implies not simply more leisure, but real Edutaiment.

Another highlight not to be missed is the second edition of Il Segno dell'Acqua, the art exhibition in collaboration with Frank&Frank and Michela Codutti, whose works, in constant rotation, are also open for sale for the resort’s guests.

Guests will also be able to enjoy numerous outdoor activities in contact with nature and the local traditions, such as horse riding, hiking, fitness and yoga classes, and the open-air cinema, where films for the whole family will be shown. Thanks to the JW Venice VOGA Academy, the resort's first sports school dedicated to traditional Venetian rowing, guests will have the opportunity to attend lessons for approximately two hours a day, which will take place both on the Isola delle Rose and in Venice, combining a sport activity with a visit to the city, experiencing the lagoon as the locals do and learning about what was once the only vehicle for transit and transport in the city. The JW Venice Voga Academy is open to individuals, couples and entire families and can be booked like every other package and experience, via the resort app.

The resort has 266 rooms and suites, designed in a contemporary style and divided into two main experiences: The JW rooms, located in the main building, and the JW Retreats surrounded by greenery, which include La Residenza, La Maisonette, L'Uliveto and the exclusive Villa Rose.
