Kulbhushan Tyagi Appointed GM of Grace Bay Club

Turks and Caicos' Grace Bay Resorts has announced the promotion of Kulbhushan Tyagi as general manager of Grace Bay Club, the brand’s flagship property. Tyagi has over 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including six with Grace Bay Resorts. He will oversee day-to-day operations of the property, including the resort’s seven dining concepts and Anani Spa.

“In this next chapter, I look forward to finding innovative ways to build upon Grace Bay Club’s legacy of luxury and continue earning the loyalty of guests who treasure our commitment to superior hospitality,” Tyagi said in a press release.

“Over the past six years, Tyagi has consistently impressed us with his dedication to enriching the guest experience and going above and beyond to create memorable experiences,” said Thierry Gransire, executive vice president of operations, Grace Bay Resorts, in a press note. “We are confident he will continue to succeed in this new role and look forward to continuing to benefit from his leadership.”

Originally from India, Tyagi graduated from the Institute of Hotel Management in Aurangabad and began his career at Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces before accepting a role with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Tyagi continued to grow his career at Raffles Resort, Canouan Island before moving to Turks and Caicos to serve as food and beverage director for Veranda Resort and Residences. Prior to joining Grace Bay Resorts, Tyagi served as the director of operations at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts in Barbados.

Tyagi rejoined Grace Bay Resorts in 2016 as executive assistant manager of food and beverage, and two years later was promoted to resort manager at Grace Bay Club where he was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the resort.

When not at work, Tyagi enjoys exploring the beaches of Turks and Caicos, eating at local hot spots with his wife and children, adventuring in nature, and traveling internationally where he enjoys hiking and river rafting.
