Several properties are currently in the middle of resort-wide renovations. Formerly the Mandarin Orental, Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas Hotel & Residences will debut redesigned rooms and public spaces sometime this year. SLS Las Vegas began work on a $100 million renovation last October, with the efforts expected to affect the casino floor, hotel rooms, entertainment venues and more. The Palms Casino Resort expects to wrap up its $690 million renovation in 2019.

Though 2019 is only just begun, 2020 is also looking like it will be a big year for Las Vegas. The multi-billion-dollar Resorts World Las Vegas is targeting a late 2020 opening. Marriot’s new property The Drew Las Vegas, expected to offer 4,000 rooms and connect to the new Las Vegas Convention Center, is also aiming for a 2020 debut. The Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, meanwhile, plans to add more than 250,000 square feet to the property with the debut a new tower in mid-2020.
