With the recent launch of the new flight path from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM), Marriott International resorts located on Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach have curated packages for travelers embarking on this new route.
The launch of the new flight path marks the first direct flight from LAX to the Caribbean. The Cayman Airways' Los Angeles route will offer once-weekly service from LAX to GCM on Sundays and return from GCM to LAX on Saturdays. To introduce west coast travelers to the Cayman Islands, Marriott International properties in Grand Cayman have created six-day packages and itineraries to align with the Los Angeles flight schedule.
The Cayman Islands recently dropped their pre-testing requirements, making travel to the island seamless from LAX. Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort, The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa and The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman will offer an exclusive destination package to celebrate this inaugural west coast flight.
All three Marriott International resorts will offer a 20 percent discount on published retail rate and a resort credit of $300. Guests can book this package through October 31, 2022 and use it on a stay until March 4, 2023. Travelers must be traveling on the flight from LAX and will be required to present their boarding pass at check in. There is a minimum stay of six nights and blackout dates may apply.
The newly renovated Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is the only five-star property on the island. It is offering the Jean-Michel Cousteau, Ambassadors of the Environment program, which uses family-friendly activities to immerse guests in the culture of the Cayman Islands.
The Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort is welcoming guests traveling from LAX to experience the Beach House. At the resort, guests can experience the local culture through farm-to-table dining, and a relaxing spa treatment at Botanika Union.
The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa is situated on prime oceanfront. At the resort, guests can spend their days at their expansive stretch of beach, or at the swimming pool. Guests can also enjoy an array of watersports just steps from their guestroom. With a focus on wellness, the resort offers morning yoga sessions, a RunWestin program, a 24-hour WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio, and a full-service spa.
